Tiny snail on a newly opened pink lily.
The bigger snails sometimes eat the buds before they get a chance to open! Even though this one was tiny I carefully relocated him after taking the photo.

I manage to think that most of the time, but there are times...

I never deliberately kill them but I frequently throw them across to the other side of the small river that runs alongside my garden - hoping they don't know how to swim :evillaugh:

i think i like all the creepy crawlies too much so i would be a lousy gardener. :giggle:
and you are in luck snails are not swimmers

But that means you can plant flowers and other plants to attract or feed a wealth of insects & other creepy-crawlies. Then you've got lots of fascinating things to watch and take photos of in your garden :D

:giggle: that is very true we have a few plants that attract things - but fortunately for me we also have a nature reserve around the corner and across the road with walking trails that pass through it so its good to take a wander in warmer weather with the camera

So do I, they're so delicate and translucent :)
